- Retail Continues Selling Bitcoin to ETFs: Spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen significant inflows, with smaller Bitcoin holders selling their BTC directly to these ETFs and institutions, while larger investors and institutions continue to accumulate Bitcoin through these funds. This trend is concerning because smaller holders are missing out on the long-term wealth-building potential and the unique benefits of holding Bitcoin in self-custody, instead allowing institutions to control the assets.
- Bitcoin to Rally in Q4 Amid Election Impact: Bitcoin is expected to rally in the fourth quarter of 2024 due to the impact of the U.S. presidential election, favorable economic factors, and historical trends. Analysts predict that a Trump victory could drive Bitcoin prices to $80-90,000, while a Harris victory might see prices drop to $30-40,000, reflecting the candidates' differing stances on cryptocurrency regulation.
